After yesterday’s simple connect, here’s another connect, almost as simple.

A

akshay

B

kalyug

C

film

D

tintin

Now, after yesterday’s experience, I know that many youngsters are not able to recognise famous personas and personalities from yesteryears. I saw someone identify Guru Dutt as Kishore Kumar!

So, from today, just to make things slightly easier, I will provide hints about pictures or personalities who I may think are too tough or arbit to be identified. The hint for today is that the two people in the third picture are Mehmood and Shashikala.

Happy quizzing, and have a nice life, folks!

Only Paddy aka Padmanabhan Pillai had the answer I was looking for. And it was THAT simple! BLUE! Refer to his reply for further details.

However, I did not expect an altogether different connect, which Anup ,managed to come up with. The third picture is indeed from Neel Kamal, so his connect of LOTUS is also valid.

  1. Lotus

    1. "Rajeev" (Bhatia; Akshay) = (raajeev-lochan = lotus eyed)
    2. "Kunal" (Khemu) = Lotus
    3. **Correction: This pic is from Shatranj (remember Mehmood is Amir, he has a boat and his favourite song is "husla jaaundis..." it has Rajendra Kumar:), not Rajkumar/Manoj Kumar starring Neel Kamal (aaja tujhko pukare mere geet)
    4. Tintin movie - The Blue Lotus

  3. I think the connect would be "Blue".
Akshay acted in a movie named "Blue",
Kalyug was earlier named as "Blue Film" (Not Sure abt this....)can also be said that Kalyug dealt with the subject of Blue Films.
The still is from the Classical Movie "Neel Kamal", Neel= Blue
The Tintin Pic is from the story "Blue Lotus"
