Hey, i thought this was an easy one, and no one cracked it!? Or did no one even visit and see this question?
The connection is Satyajit Ray.
The two fonts mentioned here are Ray Roman and Ray Bizarre, both created by Ray. The drawing of the alien is also by Ray. It was supposed to be how the aliens would look if the film on extra terrestrials, that Ray was planning with Stanley Kubrick, had materialised.
However, for some strange reason, Ray’s script, which he had sent to Kubrick for perusal, went missing. Several years later, when Steven Spielberg made ‘ET: the extra terrestrial’, many people, who knew of Ray’s script, said that there were lots of similarities between the script and the film!
Questioned about this in an interview, Spielberg had reportedly said that the “script was already doing rounds of Hollywood when I was in high school.” What do we make of that?
Kya panchat marra be .....but good observation ....
ReplyDeleteeasy answer of a tough question. Good one again.
ReplyDeleteI think Arkadev before Satyajit Ray had sent the script to Kubrick, he had already written the story line of so called "ET" by Spielberg in the short story "Banku Babur Bondhu" in his collection named "Ek Dazan Golpo". Am I correct?
