Another dry one for the day. Read this poem:
Mai Nikhattu, Desh Nithalla
Din Bhar Bematlab HoHallaa
Bhikhmango ke Raam aur Allaa
Vyapaari kaa Dharam hai Galla
TV Video Game hai Challa
Jo haar Mile Toh Jhaad lo Palla
Maraa Kabeer aur Maraa re Bullaa
Yahan pe Nanga Naache Dallaa
Karo Siyasat kaato Sar
Bahut hai Ghar Mein Lalli Lallaa
Note Aur SIkkon Kaa Rasgulla
Khaa kar Netaa Haj ko Challaa
Mai Nikhattu, Desh NIthalla
Chale tere Bharose Ram aur Allaa!
Nice one, we all agree. The occasion on which this poem was ‘released’ to the public was the Ayodhya verdict that came out yesterday. The poet is also a lyricist in Hindi films. Give me his name.
Happy quizzing, and have a nice life, folks!

Just one answer, and the Oncologist got it almost correct. The genre and style of the two poets is quite similar. This ain’t Prasoon Joshi, boss. This is Swanand Kirkire!
Prasoon Joshi.
