A not-so-easy one…
This gentleman, the youngest Michelin-star winner of his time, is often acknowledged to be the godfather of modern cooking. Among his many protégés is Gordon Ramsay, with whom he stopped talking after Ramsay brought a TV crew to this gentleman’s third wedding without informing either the groom or the bride.
Like Ramsay, this gentleman too is known for his mercurial temper. He once cut out a part of the clothing of one of this junior chefs who was complaining of heat in the kitchen. He also famously returned all his Michelin stars and retired in 1999 as a chef, a mere 12 years after having opened his first restaurant in London.
Identify this gentleman.
Happy quizzing, and have a nice life, folks!

Apparently, this was a difficult one. Three replies, and only two correct… This is the Michelin Star-returning chef Marco Pierre White.

My bad. Just goes to show how the quizmaster is never infallible. As was answered by Ali, and later pointed out by JARGON, the photo belongs to Claude Bosi, while the details are those of Marco Pierre White.
