Let the connects begin with an easy one!
1. This is a Native American of Apache origin. His name means ‘one who yawns’. It was also often used as a battle cry in the earlier half of the 20th century.
2. Just a gentleman who was at the right place at the right time.
3. This is actually a British armyman whose direct connection is to what has been blanked out in the previous photograph.
4. Need I say more?
As simple as that. Connect.
Happy quizzing, and have a nice life, folks!
Six answers, and all correct! The connect is Operation Neptune Spear aka Operation Geronimo aka the operation by US Navy Seal Team 6 to seek out and kill Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The first photo is that of Geronimo. The second is Sohaib Athar, who unwittingly live-tweeted the entire Navy Seal operation in Abbottabad. The third is the General Abbott after whom Abbottabad is named. and the fourth is a book by one of the participants of the operation about his experience that night.
I had thought of including Zero Dark Thirty or Katherine Bigelow as a clue too, but that would have made it even more obvious.
