Wow! More than 10 of the 15 replies got it correct! This is indeed Rufus the Hawk, who is used to scare away the sparrows at Wimbledon. A couple did say Hamish, but this is Rufus, and he is in the news because he was recently stolen, then found.

    Rufus - American Harris Hawk - Used to shoo away pigeons @ Wimbledon. Was stolen from a car in which it was kept.

    Its a falcon.

    8 of them were deployed in Roland Garros to keep pigeons away.

    Rufus the Hawk. It was stolen some days ago, but was later found. Its job is to evade the pigeons from Wimbledon.
